Set in Jackson, Mississippi, Agent Lukas, grieving the loss of his daughter, is on the hunt for a serial killer who follows an ancient and brutal tribal ritual called “Muti.” As the case takes him to Rome, Lukas discovers that the only person who can help is an anthropologist with a dark secret.
