A film inspired by Trattatello in laude di Dante by Giovanni Boccaccio.

Giovanni Boccaccio is tasked with delivering 10 gold florins as a symbolic compensation to Dante’s daughter. As he retraces part of Dante’s journey from Florence to Ravenna, Boccaccio pieces together and narrates the story of the great poet.
